The 49th Night

The moon is just coming up over Hollywood Boulevard as I type this, an odd place for the moonrise. Perhaps to light Wynnie's way.
; )

Mama burned some sage and had some pink champagne, and she and Dad and I had a little bon voyage ceremony for Wynnie's spirit.

Please celebrate her life with us, and her new life as well,
as her soul finds a new form this day.

Light a candle, raise a glass or send a loving thought her way.

We love you, Wynnie.
Until we meet again...
 Cokie

Retyped out of respect for Wynnie removing my silly typing mistakes * teary eyes*

OK I marked this cool because I think it really IS cool that she is loved and remembered and still lives.

Ave e Vale Wynnie. You are loved, your life is loved and your soul is with us.

Thank you, everyone. We now feel that we've had our time for the overwhelming part of the grieving process, and now that we've done our 49th day ceremony, we truly feel that Wynnie has moved on.

We will love her forever and miss her always, and continue to see her out of the corner of our eyes in her familiar places...

But she's started a new life and perhaps we'll run across her again. We can't be sad about that.

Oma is getting a new kitty, since her sweet Roni also died this year. I'll post a pic as soon as I get one. I believe it will be a one year old Tortie girl cat!

Thank you for all the love and compassion from my old and new friends.

Warmly,
Cokie
