Anipal Photo Hunt #6: Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet Week Challenge

BlogPaws' Be The Change For Pets is asking everyone to post a 'less-adoptable' pet on their blog during the week of Sept 19-25, so that's the Anipal Photo Hunt blog hop theme this week.

UPDATE: BOOMER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

My 'less adoptable' pet is Boomer, a five year old, 11 pound, neutered male black tabby domestic longhair cat who looks like Alice in Wonderland's Cheshire Cat. : )

Boomer has been in a Los Angeles City Animal Shelter since July 27, 2010. Please help me find him a forever home before it's too late!

UPDATE: BOOMER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

I'll even pay the adoption fee if someone can guarantee him a good home and lots of love, but can't afford the fee - references required. (Email CokietheCat at gmail.com.)

It is very tough for less-adoptable cats that are in city shelters because it is hard for kitties who wind up there to find homes to begin with! I hope somebody steps up for Boomer!

As we in the reskoo biz say, if'n peeples cannot afford the adoptshun fee, they cannot afford to has an animal to care for. V-E-T care, as much as we animals hate it, is necessary and duss be eggspensive and peeples has to be prepared to pay the monies or they should not take on the responsibilities. This be how so many animals end up in the shelter to begin with. Good luck Boomer!
